Etodolac

Etodolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Etodolac is used to treat mild to moderate pain, osteoarthritis, or rheumatoid arthritis. Ibuprofen, commonly known by the brand names Advil or Motrin, and etodolac, commonly known by the brand name Lodine, are known as NSAIDs, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Etodolac is used to manage pain and arthritis. Ibuprofen can do much the same but is also indicated to help manage dysmenorrhea and PDA.
